The sting that stung back – Part 3

June 12, 2012

Earlier episodes:

Part 1: Introduction

Part 2: Preamble

The first encounter:-

Sometimes the reader would have to exercise so much “willing suspension of disbelief” that the reader might discover here almost the ingredients of a fairy tale …….

Therefore… there was once upon a time ……. some time towards the end of June 2007, two persons who came to Pondicherry. They first met a representative of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram which we will not name but identify as SB.

SB had met one Mr. Sashi Mukherjee and another lady, Sujata Venkatesh, who seemed to be his assistant and that they had requested SB to be of some assistance to them as they were claiming to be acting on behalf of a real estate firm based in Delhi. They claimed that they were engaged in a project of setting up a resort here in Pondicherry. SB had clearly conveyed to them that he had no particular expertise in this field. Mr. Sashi Mukherjee thereafter requested SB to introduce him to the trustees of Sri Aurobindo Ashram. SB himself did not take Mr. Sashi Mukherjee to the trustees, but on his own Mr. Sashi Mukherjee did meet Manoj-da a few times in the Ashram and Dilip-da once in the Dispensary.

As document, we are displaying the first exhibit of a scan of Mr. Sashi Mukherjee’s visiting card which he left behind.
